Dejan Srhoj (1978)
After graduating from Ljubljana Ballet School and finishing the Ballet
Academy in Munich (Germany), Dejan became the soloist of Slovenian
National Opera and Ballet Theatre.
From 1999-2001 he performed most of the leading roles, such as Prince
in Swan's Lake, Kashchey in Fire Bird, the Prince in Sleeping Beauty,
Lucentio in Cranko's Taming of the Shrew.
He also took part of research projects with Vera Mantero, Howard Katz
Fireheart, Ko Morobushi, Benoit Lachambre, Francois Michele
Pesenti...among others.
He has received prestigious Award of The Association of Ballet Artists
of Slovenia in 2001 and DanceWeb scholarship 2003 in Vienna.

In 2000 he co-founded FIČO BALET with Goran D. Bogdanovski with whom he
closly collaborates on all the productions and future projects of the
company. He pursue however projects with various other artists,
as
well as, his own choreographic work. In 2004 he created choreography
for a puppet theatre performance for adults -Ivana and co-created
Confi-dance, the latest creation of Fičo Balet.
His latest project is his first solo performance, Edge of Eden, which
he presented in December 2005.
